Learning from Swiss Automation

n the meeting we learned how automation has affected the industry in many positive ways such as,how they can make more parts in one day.  They can make more money because of the higher production rate.  We also learned how they make their parts and what they make with the parts. They have some products that are as small as a hair. Some of the products go to Space X, oxigin units they also make pins for fifth wheel hitches. 

They talked about their thermal deburring process using robotic arms. they also told us about their electronic control board for seeing what machines were working, what needed maintenance and which ones were turned off.
