4H Robotics League Competition

4H has a robotics league similar to FLL, they use LEGOs to build a robot to accomplish tasks on a small field. The kids are elementary and junior high age. The goal of this event was to introduce the kids and their parents to FIRST and a higher level of robotics that they could get involved in when they graduated from the LEGO portion of 4H. We set up our field in a separate room and many kids and their parents came to view our robot along with other teams’ robots such as “Got Robot?” and “Blue Box Bots”, we even let the kids drive our robots. At the end of the competition, we and the other FTC teams gave a speech to all the attendees of the competition and their parents about FIRST and it’s different aspects.
