Breakthrough Ministries

For our Breakthrough outreach we decided to create a curriculum to help the event run smoothly. For this, we split the different activities into “stations”. Every station was given materials and instructions for teaching whatever system was highlighted in the station. Suggestions were provided for number of kids and accommodating different skill sets. The first kit was designed around linear slide kits, letting students explore building moving parts. The second station held driving robots, letting kids see the working robots and practice driving them. The next station held programming instructions and lesson plans for teaching basic programming. The fourth and final station was designed around build kits.
