Swiss Automation Judge’s Presentation and Demonstration

This outreach with Swiss Automation was done to help out robotics team to understand the use of engineering in the workplace and to help the people at Swiss Automation to better understand First FTC Robotics. This was done first by Swiss Automation showing our team a slideshow of what their company does. They showed us things such as what kinds of parts they make (some as thin as human hair) and the different types of jobs they have in their industry. Our team helped educate Swiss Automation by giving them our rough judge’s presentation. We described the different elements of our team to them, and later described the design and functions of our robot. In the end, Swiss Automation asked some questions about our robot and the game, and we answered them to our best abilities.

During this outreach, we learned how we can apply what we are learning now as a first FTC team into real life and the workplace. As a robotics team, we hope to learn as much as we can now so that we can apply our knowledge to day-to-day life in the future.
